Well, I can kill an ant.
I can kill a squirrel.
I can kill plant.
I can kill a person.
I can kill soil.
I can kill a cat.
I can kill a sheep.
I can butcher a strawberry.
Or a tree.
I can kill all biology.
But what about me?
Of course, I can.
I can punch.
I can kick and bite.
I can shoot, spray, dose and fight.
I can kill, butcher and cut with all my might.
You see all of that is easy.
But how can I harvest light?
I can rob, steal, and plunder
In order to absorb all the wonder.
But can I manage life?
Well maybe with a watering can.
Maybe I can plant a seed.
Maybe I won't be in need.
Maybe I can watch in strife.
Maybe I can work the soil while others toil.
Maybe I'll watch but not be still while others kill.
Maybe as others lie, die and barter,
Maybe I'll sow seeds of life.
Maybe in efforts to fill the larder,
Maybe I'll grow with less strife.
Just maybe I'll sow seeds of the freed.
Maybe I'll grow what we been a need'.
But not if I kill.
Well, this was my blog for the week. Just food for thought. What can you grow that can feed you or your animals or soil that can later feed you? I think that would be a good economic stimulus program. We fine you for what you kill and give incentives for growth.
